Shell Shockers Play Last Home Game for Four Weeks
April 20, 2006The New Orleans Shell Shockers play their final warm-up game before the start of the official league season on Saturday (NOTE: APRIL 22).
It will be the last chance for Louisiana soccer fans to support their team for almost a month. Although the finalized league schedule will not be released until early next week, the Shell Shockers already know they do not have a home fixture until May 20.
The friendly against local side Christian Brothers is at 7pm at Muss Bertolino Stadium in Kenner, and tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children aged 6 -12 with free entry for kids under six.
Head Coach Kenny Farrell said this afternoon (THURSDAY): “We are appealing to all sports lovers in the area to come out and get behind the side. This is an important exhibition as it is our last chance to get everything right before the big kick-off in two weeks.”
