Dallas, TX- The New Orleans Shell Shockers (2-3-3) fell to the DFW Tornados (3-5-3) by a score of 4-2 in their second straight road game in two weeks.
-FIRST HALF-
GOAL 41st minute: DFW Tornados lead the Shockers 3-0 until the 41st minute when the Shell Shockers are awarded a penalty kick for a handball in the box. Steven Medlock capitalizes on the kick; scoring the Shell Shockers’ first goal of the match.
Although the Shell Shockers continue to take several shots, they are unable to find the back of the net, trailing the Tornados 3-1 at the end of the half.
-SECOND HALF-
GOAL 77th minute: DFW Tornados score their fourth and final goal of the match.
GOAL 90th minute: For the second time this season, late substitute Sparky Hughes makes a beautiful play in the final minutes of the game, scoring the Shell Shockers final goal in stoppage time.
